Artists Statement:
As a composer, I look to find ways to integrate my musical approach to most of my artistic pursuits. I believe that a composition can entail not just music, but also illustration, design of all types, video, technology, performance and any other avenue where I can learn, expand, and most importantly, express ideas to others. I love involving all varieties of satire in my art, from the dry to the ridiculous. I like my beauty with a morbid sense of humor. I like overbuilding things when less would suffice. And while I’m a proponent of the “do-it-yourself” ethos, I prefer collaborating when creating as the end result invariably leads to far more satisfying work.
