The Portable Nomadic Studio (above left: photo by Zach Abubeker) is a miniature model of the Nomadic Studio exhibition designed to resemble a briefcase. In collaboration with Beth Wiedner, and Brian McNally, this ‘mini-museum’ was created to envision and plan the space’s installations, art objects, and events and documents all the permanent pieces of the exhibition. The photo was used to represent the exhibition and was printed on postcards, pamphlets, and banners which lined Fullerton Avenue in Lincoln Park.
Case (above right) was built as a shipping box so that the ‘mini-exhibition’ could travel overseas safely and beautifully. It was sent to Rum46 in Denmark where it was installed for a year.
